Job Description
The Policy and Government Relations Intern will support advocacy initiatives, policy research, and stakeholder engagement activities. The role offers hands-on exposure to governance processes and development programs focused on impact-driven solutions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in:
- Sociology
- Psychology
- Political Science
- International Development
- Public Health
- Development Studies
- Communications or a related field
- Strong academic performance with a clear interest in evidence-based policy and governance
- Prior internship or volunteer experience in policy research, advocacy, or development sector (preferred)
- Experience working with government institutions, NGOs, or international development organisations (added advantage)
- Demonstrated understanding of Nigeria’s governance structures and policy landscape
- Awareness of current affairs and development issues in Nigeria
