Job Description
The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) is inviting applications for the position of Intern – RH. This six-month internship provides recent graduates with the opportunity to gain practical experience in project coordination, research, reporting, and project management within an international development organization.
Working under the guidance of experienced professionals, interns will contribute to development projects while gaining valuable exposure to project implementation and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Operations Team Leader (OTL), Project Management Specialist (PMS), and Head of Administration in coordinating infrastructure projects.
- Assist in preparing clear, accurate, and well-structured reports.
- Contribute technical input to contract management and project evaluation activities.
- Conduct research and gather relevant data to support project assessments.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions on project implementation and progress.
- Assist in developing project management tools, templates, and documentation.
- Carry out additional assignments as directed by the supervising team.
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree obtained within the last 12 months.
- Academic background in one of the following fields:
- Civil Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Project Management
- Information Technology (IT)
- Business Administration
- Management
- Other related disciplines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Good organizational and project coordination skills.
- Fluency in English (mandatory).
- Knowledge of French is an added advantage.
