Job Description
ExCare Health Services Limited is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented NYSC Corps Member to join its Inventory Team as an Inventory Assistant. This opportunity is ideal for corps members seeking a Primary Place of Assignment (PPA) and looking to gain practical experience in inventory management within the healthcare sector.
The successful candidate will assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, supporting stock audits, and ensuring efficient inventory operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Update and maintain inventory records using the inventory management system.
- Assist with stock receiving, documentation, and inventory monitoring.
- Participate in routine stock-taking exercises and inventory audits.
- Prepare inventory reports and stock summary records.
- Monitor stock levels and report items requiring replenishment.
- Record expired, damaged, or obsolete products accurately.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the inventory management team.
- Ensure inventory records are accurate and up to date.
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Must be a current NYSC Corps Member seeking a Primary Place of Assignment (PPA).
- Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following or a related healthcare discipline:
- Pharmacy
- Pharmacology
- Medical Laboratory Science
- Biochemistry
- Microbiology
- Public Health
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, is an added advantage.
- Willingness to learn and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
