Job Description
As a Facility Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operations and maintenance of Emzor’s pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. Your role ensures safety, functionality, compliance, and optimal use of infrastructure and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily and preventive maintenance of infrastructure (plumbing, lighting, utilities, etc.)
- Ensure optimal functioning of non-production systems – generators, compressors, water supply
- Coordinate with security, janitorial, fumigation, and landscaping teams
- Monitor cleanliness and functionality of restrooms, canteens, break rooms
- Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities, utilities, and contractor services
- Enforce compliance with SOPs, HSE guidelines, NAFDAC, and NESREA regulations
- Support audits by preparing facility-related reports and documentation
- Supervise vendors, enforce SLAs, and monitor costs and facility-related budgets
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Estate Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in facility or general services management (preferably in Pharma or FMCG)
- NEBOSH/HSE certification is an added advantage
- Membership in a facility management body is a plus
Competencies
- Strong understanding of facility operations and safety compliance
- Excellent communication, supervision, and documentation skills
- Budget planning and vendor management experience
