1. Manager – Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR)
The successful candidate will oversee compliance with local and international tax regulations, provide audit and tax controversy support, and prepare financial and regulatory reports. This role requires strong technical expertise in tax, accounting, and reporting standards, with the ability to mentor and lead a team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and submit tax returns in line with regulations.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate tax-related risks.
- Provide support on tax disputes and controversy matters.
- Handle tax accounting, provisioning, and reporting under IFRS.
- Manage Accounting Compliance & Reporting (ACR) obligations.
- Oversee payroll operations and compliance with payroll tax regulations.
- Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory reports in compliance with IFRS.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of tax professionals.
- Collaborate with clients to design and implement tailored tax and compliance solutions.
2. Manager – Regulatory Compliance
This role is part of the Regulatory and Company Secretarial team, responsible for helping clients navigate compliance requirements, minimize risks, and meet regulatory obligations. The candidate will contribute to advisory engagements, develop client solutions, and support compliance planning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead advisory and compliance engagements on regulatory issues.
- Conduct research and monitor changes in legislation and best practices.
- Advise clients on innovative compliance solutions and strategies.
- Manage client compliance obligations, including timely filings and responses.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with regulators and industry stakeholders.
- Draft regulatory alerts and thought leadership materials.
- Coordinate training programs and capacity-building initiatives for compliance teams.
- Identify compliance risk events, recommend solutions, and monitor corrective actions.
- Support business development and client acquisition strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements
Manager – Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR):
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field (minimum of 2:1 or Upper Credit).
- Professional qualifications (ICAN, ACCA, CITN, MBA) are an advantage.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in tax, compliance, and accounting.
- Strong knowledge of local and international tax regulations and IFRS.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Knowledge of the Oil & Gas sector is an added advantage.
Manager – Regulatory Compliance:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (minimum of Second-Class Upper).
- At least 8 years of relevant regulatory compliance or industry experience.
- Strong managerial, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to deliver innovative compliance solutions.
- Experience in client relationship management and regulatory engagement.
- Proactive, motivated, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
