Job Description
Available Positions
1. Head of Maintenance
The Head of Maintenance will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities of the airline and ensuring aircraft and ground support equipment are maintained in line with OEM-approved documentation, aviation authority regulations, and company policies. The role also focuses on driving performance, continuous improvement, and fostering a productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and manage maintenance operations to meet safety and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with industry safety standards, airworthiness requirements, and company policies.
- Oversee adequate facilities, tooling, and equipment for maintenance tasks.
- Monitor utilization of departmental resources and manage ground support equipment.
- Coordinate outstation maintenance and periodic verifications.
- Support MCC Manager in controlling technical operations and achieving high dispatch reliability.
- Monitor delays and system issues, recommending corrective actions.
- Work with maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of checks.
- Supervise cabin and IFE maintenance teams for optimal passenger experience.
- Support contract negotiations and identify training requirements for maintenance staff.
- Oversee performance development of engineers and managers.
- Manage line maintenance in Lagos and Abuja bases.
- Ensure compliance of third-party maintenance providers.
- Define and control the department’s annual budget.
- Cover Technical Director’s duties when absent.

- 98% Technical Dispatch Reliability.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aeronautical Engineering.
- At least 10 years of aircraft maintenance experience (3 in leadership roles).
- AME License with Airframe & Powerplant ratings.
- Minimum 3 years maintaining similar aircraft categories.
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems and aviation regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications and MRO systems.
- Good knowledge of industrial safety standards and human factors.
2. Manager, Technical Store
The Manager, Technical Store will manage warehouse operations within the Engineering & Maintenance Department to support Air Peace fleet requirements for aircraft spares, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage 24/7 technical stores and ensure continuous material support for operations.
- Oversee annual stocktaking and reconciliation for audit compliance.
- Implement quality control and enforce compliance with procedures.
- Maintain data integrity of stock levels in AD Software.
- Ensure safe custody and secure movement of all spare parts.
- Resolve operational issues and review audit findings.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and maintenance units.
- Provide leadership and staff development for improved performance.
- Establish KPIs to measure store performance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements
- B.Sc./HND in a relevant field.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a technical stores environment (aviation preferred).
- At least 4 years in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MRP systems (ADS is an advantage).
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and performance management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
