1. Market and Industry Trend Analyst
Job Description
The Market and Industry Trend Analyst will be responsible for tracking developments in the financial services industry, analyzing competitor activities, and providing data-driven insights to guide Ecobank’s strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track macroeconomic indicators and financial sector trends (CBN policies, fintech disruptions, inflation, interest rates, etc.)
- Conduct competitor benchmarking on products, pricing, digital offerings, and campaigns.
- Analyze customer behavior trends across segments (Retail, SME, HNWI).
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards using Power BI and Excel.
- Generate market intelligence reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with strategic and business units on product and pricing strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Management.
- Working knowledge of SQL, ETL, and Excel for data analysis.
- Experience with Tableau is an advantage.
- Strong presentation, analytical, and business writing skills.
- Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
2. Product Officer, Liabilities
Job Description
The Product Officer (Liabilities) will support the Personal Banking segment by developing competitive products, driving business growth, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and management of Personal Banking liability products.
- Conduct market research to assess Ecobank’s competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technology, marketing, operations) to achieve strategic goals.
- Manage customer loyalty programs and lifestyle benefits.
- Drive customer retention, onboarding, and complaint resolution processes.
- Implement strategies to enhance operational performance and compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of Second Class Lower degree (MBA or relevant professional qualification is an added advantage).
- 3–5 years’ experience in the banking or financial services industry.
- Proven skills in relationship management and product development.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
