Job Description

Available Positions 

1. Research Support Officer – Research Administration

Key Duties 

  • Assist in literature reviews, data collection, and preliminary analysis.
  • Support the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and publications.
  • Maintain research databases and documentation.
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and field visits.
  • Manage correspondence, scheduling, travel logistics, and financial documentation.
  • Draft internal and external communications and support donor reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Development Studies, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of  3 years’ experience in research or project administration within a structured environment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management tools.

2. Research Assistant – Farm Operations

Key Duties 

  • Assist in daily farm activities including feeding, cleaning, and handling of animals.
  • Support crop and forage production, planting, harvesting, and maintenance.
  • Implement experimental protocols under supervision.
  • Collect, record, and validate farm data using standardized tools.
  • Support data analysis, visualization, and MEL (Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning) activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of  3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in  Microsoft Office and digital data collection tools (e.g., Excel, Kobo Toolbox).

3. Research Assistant – Facility Maintenance

Key Duties 

  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of research facilities, including equipment and housing systems.
  • Assist in repairs and ensure safety compliance across operational areas.
  • Support logistics for field and laboratory operations.
  • Maintain an inventory of maintenance tools and supplies.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Agriculture, or related field.
  • Minimum of  3 years’ relevant experience.
  • Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with digital tools for reporting (e.g., Excel, Google Forms).

4. Farm Worker

Key Duties 

  • Assist in feeding, watering, and cleaning livestock.
  • Participate in planting, weeding, and harvesting of crops.
  • Maintain orderliness of farm facilities and assist with experimental setups.
  • Record daily farm activities accurately and report issues to supervisors.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • SSCE / O’Level Certificate.
  • Minimum of  5 years’ farm work experience.
  • Must be physically fit, disciplined, and able to work in a team environment.

5. HQCP Factory Farm Worker

Key Duties 

  • Assist in processing and packaging HQCP products.
  • Operate and clean factory equipment under supervision.
  • Maintain hygiene and safety standards within the factory.
  • Record daily production data and assist in inventory tracking.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • SSCE / O’Level Certificate.
  • Minimum of  5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Basic literacy and data recording ability.
  • Willingness to perform physical factory tasks.
