1. Internal Auditor (IT Audit)
Rand Merchant Bank is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join its team in Lagos. The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Audit Executive and will be responsible for assessing and improving the effectiveness of risk management, governance, and internal controls across the bank’s IT systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct IT and cybersecurity audits and reviews.
- Evaluate general IT controls, project management processes, and cloud computing environments.
- Review business continuity and disaster recovery processes.
- Perform audits on system development, operations, and security procedures.
- Assess compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Prepare and discuss audit reports with management and stakeholders.
- Support integrated audit approaches between process and IT audits.
- Conduct investigations and other assignments as directed by the Chief Audit Executive.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT audit, risk management, technology assurance, or process audit.
- Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks, cybersecurity principles, and regulatory standards.
- Experience with General Controls Review, Application Controls Review, CAATs, and Project Auditing.
- Proficiency in audit analytics tools, Power BI, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, ACCA, CRISC, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor are advantageous.

2. Corporate Coverage Analyst
The Corporate Coverage Analyst will support Relationship Managers in delivering tailored banking solutions to clients while coordinating with internal teams to improve product awareness, sales effectiveness, and client service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management of client portfolios and prepare reports and presentations.
- Conduct financial and market research to support business development initiatives.
- Assist with client onboarding and retention activities.
- Maintain business pipelines and opportunity tracking reports.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to provide client-focused solutions.
- Support product training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Monitor industry developments and provide market intelligence.
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and client experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as CFA or ACCA are an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3–6 years of experience in corporate banking, investment banking, or financial services.
- Strong financial analysis and research capabilities.
- Good understanding of corporate and investment banking products.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
