1. Workshop Assistant
Job Description
The Workshop Assistant will support the 24-Month Post-Implementation Study Training in Osogbo, Osun State. The role involves assisting with training logistics, IT setup, materials distribution, attendance coordination, and general administrative duties to ensure smooth workshop operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Distribute workshop and training materials.
- Coordinate refreshments (tea break and lunch).
- Take photographs of training sessions.
- Manage attendance and documentation.
- Set up and operate IT equipment for meetings.
- Provide administrative and logistical support during workshops.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of OND in any discipline.
- Computer literacy required.
- Previous experience supporting workshops/trainings.
- Ability to take clear meeting notes.
2. Senior National Consultant
Job Description
The Senior National Consultant will support the planning and execution of a research summit focused on malaria elimination priorities in Nigeria. The role requires developing research documents, designing methodologies, preparing presentations, coordinating summit activities, and producing a comprehensive final report.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the concept note for the research summit.
- Contribute to the summit objectives and methodology design.
- Prepare the agenda and coordinate activities.
- Deliver presentations and support research discussions.
- Draft the communique and final report.
- Provide attendance, photos, and other documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Postgraduate degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 10 years’ research experience.
- At least 5 publications in Scopus-indexed journals.
- Strong experience writing meeting/programme reports.
- Excellent coordination, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English and strong cultural awareness.
- Resident in Nigeria.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian research ecosystem.
- Ability to work independently and within teams.
- Experience facilitating meetings.
- Strong presentation and writing capabilities.
