Job Description
Wema Bank Plc is currently recruiting for the position of Lead, Strategy and Investor Relations in Lagos.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the bank’s strategy aligns with its overall goals and objectives, while also managing investor relations and providing strategic insights for sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Head of Strategy to refine and execute the bank’s strategic vision and goals.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
- Track and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) across branches and business units.
- Develop and monitor weekly and mid-month performance reports.
- Provide advisory support to management on performance management and improvement.
- Lead strategic projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Conduct economic and policy analysis, providing insights on fiscal, monetary, and global trends.
- Mentor and supervise team members, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
- Present strategic and economic reports to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc/HND) in a relevant field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with proven track record.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Solid project management expertise with the ability to handle multiple projects.
