Job Description
Malteser International is recruiting a Logistics Assistant to support its operations in Katsina State. The role involves assisting with procurement, logistics coordination, and inventory management to ensure smooth project implementation.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting logistics operations at the Katsina field office
- Assisting with procurement processes in line with organizational and donor guidelines
- Preparing and processing procurement documents (bids, purchase requests, etc.)
- Following up on Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and Job Completion Certificates
- Maintaining proper documentation and filing systems for logistics activities
- Managing warehouse/store operations and ensuring proper asset tracking
- Coordinating vehicle requests, travel logistics, and operational needs
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics & Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an NGO or development sector
- Basic knowledge of inventory management, stock counts, and fleet operations
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
