Job Description
Logistics Planning & Coordination
▪️ Plan and manage daily distribution schedules
▪️ Ensure smooth movement of goods from production → warehouse → customers
▪️ Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and production teams
🚛 Transportation & Fleet Management
▪️ Supervise company vehicles and third-party transporters
▪️ Monitor driver performance, routes, and delivery timelines
▪️ Ensure compliance with road safety and transport regulations
📦 Order Fulfilment & Delivery
▪️ Ensure accurate dispatch (quantity, documentation, packaging)
▪️ Track deliveries and resolve delays or discrepancies
▪️ Maintain proof-of-delivery records
📊 Inventory & Documentation
▪️ Verify stock picking and dispatch records
▪️ Manage waybills, return notes, and transit records
▪️ Track returned goods and discrepancies
⚠️ Compliance, Safety & Quality
▪️ Enforce food safety and hygiene standards
▪️ Ensure safe loading/unloading practices
▪️ Investigate and report incidents or losses
📈 Reporting & Improvement
▪️ Prepare daily/weekly logistics reports
▪️ Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency
▪️ Support vendor and transporter performance evaluation
Qualifications & Requirements
✔️ Degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
✔️ 3–5 years experience in logistics/distribution (FMCG preferred)
✔️ Experience managing drivers, fleets, and 3PL partners
✔️ Strong knowledge of route planning, scheduling, and inventory systems
