1. Power and Utility Officer
FiberOne Broadband is seeking a Power and Utility Officer to oversee the maintenance and operation of power infrastructure supporting network operations. The successful candidate will ensure uninterrupted utility services, perform equipment maintenance, and support emergency response activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance on inverters, rectifiers, batteries, and cooling systems.
- Support utility installations and inspections.
- Respond promptly to power failures and emergency situations.
- Supervise vendors and maintain assigned Points of Presence (POP) sites.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and utility consumption.
- Troubleshoot equipment using hand and power tools.
Qualifications & Requirements
- BA, BSc, or HND qualification.
- Technical knowledge of power systems and utility maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
2. Telesales Executive
The Telesales Executive will drive customer acquisition through outbound sales activities, lead qualification, and customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact prospective customers and convert leads into paying clients.
- Meet established sales targets and performance goals.
- Manage customer information using CRM systems.
- Present products and services effectively.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to improve sales performance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- BA, BSc, or HND qualification.
- Strong communication and persuasion skills.
- Sales experience is an advantage.
- Familiarity with CRM software is desirable.
3. Field Support Technician
The Field Support Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fiber optic infrastructure for residential and commercial customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure fiber optic cables and equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance activities.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues.
- Conduct inspections and testing using fiber optic tools.
- Document maintenance and repair activities.
- Provide technical assistance to customers.
Qualifications & Requirements
- BA, BSc, or HND qualification.
- Knowledge of fiber optic systems and networking.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in field environments and follow safety standards.
4. Incident and Supplier Management Agent
This role focuses on incident management, customer support escalation, supplier coordination, and network operations monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor customer and backend systems.
- Ensure service outages are resolved within agreed SLAs.
- Handle Level 2 customer support issues.
- Escalate unresolved incidents appropriately.
- Support network upgrades and migrations.
- Prepare incident reports and operational updates.
- Collaborate with technical support teams.
Qualifications & Requirements
- BA, BSc, or HND qualification.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in technical support or network operations is an advantage.
- Ability to work rotational shifts.
5. Project Officer
The Project Officer will support broadband deployment projects, coordinate site activities, and ensure successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise project execution and reporting activities.
- Coordinate material requests and site logistics.
- Perform project splicing activities and ensure network readiness.
- Ensure proper site cleanup after deployment.
- Minimize project rework through quality assurance.
- Carry out additional duties assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- BA, BSc, or HND qualification.
- Experience in project coordination or telecommunications projects is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and reporting skills.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
