Qualifications & Requirements
General Requirements
- Applicants must possess relevant academic and professional qualifications for their chosen role.
- NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate is mandatory (where applicable).
- Current practicing license is required for medical and allied health professionals.
- Membership in relevant professional associations will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and ethical professionalism are essential.
Examples of Role-Specific Qualifications:
- Consultants: MBBS/MBChB with Fellowship in relevant specialization (e.g., FWACS, NPMCN).
- Physiotherapist: B.Sc. in Physiotherapy or Medical Rehabilitation, with registration by MRTRBN.
- Radiographer: Degree in Radiography, registered with RRBN.
- Senior Nursing Officer/Nursing Officer II/Staff Nurse: Registered with NMCN; possession of Post-Basic Certificates is an advantage.
- Biomedical Engineer: Degree in Biomedical Engineering and registration with relevant professional body.
- Confidential Secretary: HND in Secretarial Studies with proficiency in shorthand, typewriting, and computer applications.
