Job Description
The Nigeria Police Force seeks dedicated, physically fit, and disciplined individuals to fill various General Duty and Specialist roles across multiple operational units nationwide. Qualifications & Requirements
General Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
- Must be physically and mentally fit.
- Must be of good character with no criminal convictions.
- Must not be financially embarrassed.
- Must provide two (2) character referees.
- Must not possess medical conditions such as knock knees, flat feet, bent limbs, defective eyesight, amputations, etc.
- Female applicants must not be pregnant at the time of recruitment and throughout the training period.
- General Duty applicants must be aged 18–25 years; Specialist applicants not more than 28 years.
Height requirement:
- Male: Not less than 1.67m
- Female: Not less than 1.64m
- Expanded chest measurement (General Duty Males): Not less than 86cm (34 inches).
Educational Requirements
1. General Duty Applicants
- Minimum of five (5) credits in SSCE/NECO/GCE (including Mathematics and English), obtained in not more than two sittings.
2. Specialist Applicants
- Minimum of four (4) credits including Mathematics and English, obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience and Trade Test Certificates (for applicable roles).
- Drivers must upload a valid Driver’s Licence.
