Job Description
The Nigerian Navy has announced the commencement of its Basic Training School (NNBTS) Batch 38 Recruitment Exercise.
Successful applicants will undergo basic military training before officially enlisting into the Nigerian Navy as Ordinary Seamen.
This recruitment offers young Nigerians the opportunity to serve their country, build a military career, and contribute to the protection of national maritime assets.
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
- Must possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
Age requirements:
- 18–22 years by 31st December 2025 for SSCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB holders.
- 18–26 years by 31st December 2025 for NCE, OND, Registered Nurse/Midwife, Drivers/Mechanics, and Sportsmen/Sportswomen.
- Height requirements: minimum of 1.69m for males and 1.65m for females.
- Must be single.
- Must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit. Applicants with tattoos or physical disabilities are not eligible.
- Must be free from any previous criminal conviction.
- Academic certificates (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/GCE) must not be older than 6 years at the time of application.
