Job Description

The Green Youth Upskilling Program (GYUP) 2025, powered by Oando Foundation, is a strategic training and empowerment initiative targeting young Nigerians passionate about careers in the green economy. Participants will gain hands-on experience and practical knowledge in areas like renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, climate tech, and recycling innovation.

This programme is designed to bridge the skills gap in Nigeria’s transition to a sustainable economy by nurturing talent, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit in young people.

Qualifications & Requirements

To qualify for the program, applicants must:

  • Be Nigerian citizens, aged 20 to 35
  • Have completed at least secondary education (SSCE)
  • Show a strong interest in green or technical sectors
  • Be available to participate fully in all program sessions (online or in person)
  • Submit a complete application with all necessary documents
  • (Optional but advantageous): Prior exposure to green/technical work via volunteering, internships, self-learning, or informal roles
