Job Description
Huawei is hiring a skilled Procurement Engineer to manage end-to-end procurement processes, ensure high-quality and cost-effective sourcing, and support project delivery in the ICT/Telecom sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement procurement strategies for engineering service categories.
- Lead supplier negotiations and sign procurement contracts.
- Build supplier relationships and manage vendor performance.
- Control risk, compliance, and maintain a sound internal control environment.
- Forecast delivery resource needs, and coordinate supplier support for projects.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement-related roles
- Strong understanding of telecom industry procurement models
- Proficiency in business/commercial law, compliance, and basic financials
- Strong project management, organizational, and negotiation skills
- Good cross-department communication and execution ability
- Risk awareness and ability to develop mitigation strategies
