Job Description

THC Pharmaceuticals is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Production Pharmacist to join its manufacturing team in Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily pharmaceutical production activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, maintaining production records, and supporting the efficient operation of manufacturing processes.

This role is ideal for early-career pharmacists looking to build practical experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and production management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day production operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Review, verify, and complete batch manufacturing records accurately.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure product quality and production efficiency.
  • Identify, document, and report production deviations or operational issues.
  • Ensure equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and ready for production activities.
  • Provide guidance, supervision, and support to production personnel.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and records.
  • Enforce workplace safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.

Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants should possess:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) practicing license.
  • Between 0 and 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or production.
  • Good understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Must reside within or around the Alimosho area of Lagos.
