Job Description
CWAY Foods Nigeria is hiring a qualified Purchase Supervisor to join its Lagos team. This full-time role requires a proactive and experienced procurement professional to manage purchasing operations effectively.
The Purchase Supervisor will be responsible for processing and reviewing purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement aligned with business strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review purchase orders according to company policies
- Secure necessary approvals for purchase orders
- Communicate purchase details to supplierReceipt and document goods/services based on delivery dockets
- Build strong supplier relationships and track delivery lead times
- Continuously improve purchasing efficiency and process flow
- Collaborate with sales and operational teams to align procurement with business goals
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accountancy, Purchasing, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar procurement role
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- In-depth understanding of purchasing principles in the FMCG sector
- Excellent analytical and inventory problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and adaptable
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
