The African Food Research Network (AfREN) is a multi-country academic and research network focused on advancing food systems, nutrition, and policy research across Africa. The network connects researchers, practitioners, and institutions working to strengthen evidence-based solutions in the food sector.
AfREN is currently inviting applications for two (2) remote internship positions to support research coordination, communications, and programme activities.
Job Description
AfREN seeks motivated and detail-oriented interns to support its research coordination, communication activities, and programme implementation efforts.
Selected candidates will work remotely and collaborate with a multi-country academic network, gaining exposure to international research coordination processes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Access to a personal laptop
- Reliable internet connection
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated interest in food systems, research, nutrition, or policy-related fields
