Sterling Oil Exploration & Energy Production Company Limited (SEEPCO) is seeking an experienced Rigger to join its operations team in Akwa Ibom. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience handling heavy lifting operations, ensuring safe and efficient rigging practices within oil and gas environments.
Job Description
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in rigging and heavy lifting operations
Proven record handling 100+ tonne equipment
Proficiency with rig accessories and multi-crane coordination
Strong understanding of lift planning and load control
Valid Rigger Certification (LEEA, OPITO, or equivalent)
Qualifications & Requirements
Execute complex lifting operations using 2–3 cranes simultaneously
Operate and coordinate crawler and tyre-mounted cranes
Set up, inspect, and maintain rigging gear and lifting accessories
Interpret and execute detailed lift plans
Ensure full compliance with HSE and site safety standards
