Job Description
The Security Assistant will provide effective security coverage for company assets and employees across Flour Mills’ facilities and other designated locations. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations, maintaining vigilance across security beats, and supporting the company in achieving its business objectives through robust security operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security personnel on duty to ensure alertness and discipline.
- Supervise stop-and-search procedures for vehicles entering and exiting company premises.
- Maintain accurate entries in the station diary and security registers.
- Conduct regular patrols within company premises and designated security beats.
- Clear all loaded and empty trucks to prevent theft.
- Ensure compliance with HSE and FSSC rules.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 5 O’ Level Credits including English and Mathematics in not more than two sittings.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Be vigilant, observant, and detail-oriented.
- Be physically fit and able to conduct patrols and long hours of standing.
- Demonstrate knowledge of access control procedures for both personnel and vehicles.
- Be capable of responding quickly and appropriately to security incidents or emergencies.
