Job Description

PwC is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Actuarial, to join its Capital Markets Advisory team in Lagos. The role involves providing strategic guidance and expert advice on complex financial reporting, accounting, and capital market transactions. You will work with multinational corporations, private equity firms, and capital market participants, helping them navigate high-value deals, financial restructuring, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on IPOs, debt offerings, private placements, carve-outs, spin-offs, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
  • Guide organizations through transformational business events, from evaluation to integration.
  • Support crisis avoidance, operational restructuring, and value extraction strategies.
  • Provide assurance and advisory services on capital market transactions.
  • Manage buy- and sell-side due diligence for some of the world’s leading companies.
  • Lead and mentor diverse, high-performing teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Contribute to thought leadership on emerging trends in corporate reporting and capital markets.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field (foreign equivalents accepted).
  • Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience in financial services, capital markets, or investment banking.
  • Professional certification: CFA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Proven expertise in capital markets transactions, corporate restructuring, and financial reporting.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in complex, high-stakes business environments.
