Job Description
The Client Coverage Internship Programme offers penultimate-year students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience within Standard Chartered’s corporate and institutional banking environment. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals, contribute to real business projects, and develop critical analytical, communication, and relationship-management skills.
The programme is designed to prepare successful interns for a full-time graduate role starting in July 2027.
Qualifications & Requirements
Interested candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a penultimate-year student in any degree discipline
- Available to intern from June 2026
- Available to commence full-time employment in July 2027
- Strong academic performance with evidence of extracurricular involvement
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Agile, resilient, and adaptable mindset
- Must have permanent legal right to work in Nigeria
