Job Description
Carpa Healthcare Nigeria Limited is seeking a motivated Trainee Engineer to join its engineering team in Ikeja, Lagos. This entry-level role is designed for graduates who are eager to gain practical engineering experience while working under the guidance of experienced professionals.
The successful candidate will participate in engineering projects, support technical operations, conduct research, prepare documentation, and contribute to the successful execution of engineering assignments within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in planning, designing, and executing engineering projects.
- Support the preparation of engineering drawings, project designs, and technical documentation.
- Conduct research on engineering standards, technical specifications, and emerging technologies.
- Assist in testing engineering solutions and evaluating products or equipment.
- Participate in site visits, inspections, quality assurance activities, and safety compliance checks.
- Prepare project reports, equipment inventories, progress updates, and engineering records.
- Attend technical meetings, internal training sessions, and professional development programmes.
- Continuously develop technical knowledge through mentorship and hands-on learning.
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants should possess the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.Eng., B.Tech., or B.Sc.) in a relevant engineering discipline such as:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Software Engineering
- Or another related engineering field
- Strong understanding of fundamental engineering principles.
- Basic knowledge of engineering software and digital tools relevant to the discipline.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt in a professional engineering environment.
