Available Positions
1. Accounts Payable Accountant
- Location: Enugu
- Category: Accounting
Role Summary
Manages the full accounts payable process including invoice verification, vendor payments, reconciliation, and financial reporting—especially for aviation-specific vendors like fuel suppliers and airport authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify invoices, ensuring alignment with POs and contracts
- Schedule and process vendor payments
- Maintain vendor records and resolve discrepancies
- Reconcile accounts payable ledger and generate aging reports
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist during audits
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Professional certification (ACA or ACCA) is mandatory
- 3–4 years of accounts payable experience (aviation/transport industry preferred)
- ERP system knowledge (e.g., SAP, Tally) and strong Excel skills
- Experience with multi-currency payments is an advantage
2. Financial Accountant
- Location: Enugu
- Category: Accounting
Role Summary
Ensures accuracy in financial records, prepares monthly reports, supports audits, and manages aviation-specific financial activities like aircraft leasing, fuel, and foreign currency transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger and trial balance
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and financial statements
- Handle VAT, WHT schedules and tax compliance
- Support audit processes with accurate documentation
- Monitor and manage foreign currency transactions and IFRS 16 lease accounting
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is required
- 4–6 years of accounting experience (aviation sector is a plus)
- Strong analytical, Excel, and ERP software skills
- Understanding of airline finance processes like revenue recognition, fuel hedging
