Job Description
Stanbic IBTC Bank is currently recruiting for the role of Virtual Banker, Africa China Banking (ACB) in Lagos. The successful candidate will serve as the primary contact point for Africa-China Banking clients, managing complex queries and resolving customer complaints in line with established dispute resolution processes. The role is key to ensuring client satisfaction, safeguarding brand reputation, and reducing customer attrition.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of B.Sc in Social Sciences or a related field.
- A Master’s degree or professional certifications will be an added advantage.
- 1 – 3 years of work experience in Operations, Call Centre, Channel/Helpdesk Support, or Project Implementation/Management.
- Prior experience in telecommunication support is desirable.
- Fluency in Mandarin is required.
- Solid understanding of Stanbic IBTC products and services.
- Good knowledge of credit policies, standards, and procedures.
- Strong computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, client orientation, and persuasive skills.
- Knowledge of banking processes, customer understanding, query resolution, and product expertise in consumer banking.
