About the Provider

The Mastercard Foundation Scholarship Program, in partnership with the University of Edinburgh, invites applications for the 2026/27 academic year. This program seeks to develop a community of skilled, entrepreneurial, and compassionate leaders from across Africa who are committed to driving sustainable change in response to the climate crisis.

Through this initiative, talented young Africans will gain access to world-class, sustainability-focused postgraduate education, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and networks needed to promote sustainable transitions and make lasting impact in their communities.

Note: Applicants should first apply for the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program. Only those who receive a scholarship offer should then apply for their degree programme at the University of Edinburgh.
