1. Hardware Engineer – Lagos
The Hardware Engineer will design, develop, and support hardware systems that power Moniepoint’s financial solutions. The role involves PCB design, hardware troubleshooting, prototyping, and integration with software systems to deliver innovative and reliable products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop PCBs using tools such as Proteus or Eagle.
- Support rapid prototyping and design diagnostic tools.
- Debug and troubleshoot hardware using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Document all designs, changes, and iterations.
- Train and support field repair engineers.
Qualifications & Requirements
- B.Sc./HND in Engineering or related field.
- 3–5 years relevant experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of agency banking is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
2. Field Credit Officer – Bayelsa
The Field Credit Officer will be responsible for onboarding and managing businesses accessing Moniepoint’s credit products. The role involves portfolio growth, loan performance monitoring, and ensuring profitability through effective risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and onboard viable businesses.
- Review and approve/decline loan requests based on credit analysis.
- Conduct physical business evaluations and monitor loan portfolios.
- Meet gross loan portfolio and profit targets.
- Ensure timely repayment and manage credit-related functions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum OND in a business-related discipline.
- At least 2 years of credit sales experience in a financial institution.
- Strong credit risk analysis and financial assessment skills.
- Must be resident in Bayelsa.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and analytical capability.
3. Head of Audit (TeamApt) – Lagos
The Head of Audit will lead Moniepoint’s internal audit function, ensuring effective risk management, regulatory compliance, and governance processes. The role provides independent assurance to the executive team and Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement audit strategies and plans.
- Oversee execution of audits and ensure accurate reporting.
- Provide assurance on risk management and internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and engage with external auditors.
- Lead audit team development and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide strategic advice on emerging risks and governance improvements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Professional certification: ICAN, ACCA, or CPA (required). CIA preferred.
- MBA or Master’s degree in Finance/Risk is an added advantage.
- 5–8+ years of audit, risk, or compliance experience.
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of CBN regulations, AML/CFT frameworks, and financial sector operations.
