Job Description

The Graduate Internship Programme is designed to equip recent graduates with practical knowledge of large-scale bread production and bakery operations.

Participants will receive structured classroom instruction alongside hands-on experience in a fast-paced commercial bakery environment. Throughout the internship, trainees will gain end-to-end exposure to mass-market bread production, quality assurance processes, and bakery operations.

Outstanding interns who perform well during the programme will be considered for permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities

Successful interns will:

  • Participate in practical bakery production training.
  • Learn commercial bread production processes from start to finish.
  • Receive classroom-based technical instruction.
  • Support quality control activities within bakery operations.
  • Work with experienced bakery professionals in a high-volume production environment.
  • Follow food safety and quality assurance procedures.
  • Complete all assigned internship assessments and training activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants must possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Food Science and Technology.
  • Minimum of Second Class Lower or its equivalent.
  • Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
  • Basic baking knowledge or baking skills.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced commercial bakery environment.
  • Applicants must currently reside in Port Harcourt or be willing to relocate there for the duration of the internship, even if they select Lagos or Abuja as their preferred location.
