Job Description
The Warehouse Supervisor will manage day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring timely receipt, safe storage, and efficient dispatch of goods. The role involves maintaining stock accuracy, compliance with food safety and FIFO (First-In-First-Out) standards, and supporting distribution and logistics functions through proper documentation and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the evacuation of finished goods from factories and ensure proper racking using FIFO principles.
- Oversee accurate receipt, storage, and issuance of POS materials.
- Maintain stock systems to protect product quality and minimize losses.
- Process depot shipments, including loading, dispatch, and related documentation.
- Submit timely and accurate reports to the Distribution and Transport team.
- Optimize manpower and material usage for operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations as directed by management.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the Line Manager to support warehouse operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Social Sciences, or Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of logistics or warehouse operations experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good organizational and people management skills.
- Customer-focused and a strong team player.
- Strategic mindset with creative approaches to operational challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Understanding of supply chain and logistics operations.
