About
The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) is a flagship youth empowerment initiative of the Federal Government of Nigeria, co-funded by the European Union and implemented in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Launched in 2022, the programme aims to tackle graduate unemployment by connecting talented Nigerian graduates with paid 12-month work placements in reputable public and private sector organizations nationwide.
Job Description
NJFP provides young Nigerians with hands-on work experience, professional mentorship, and capacity-building opportunities in various industries. Fellows will gain valuable exposure in their fields while contributing to Nigeria’s socio-economic development.
Participants will receive a monthly stipend of ₦150,000 for the 12-month duration of the fellowship. The programme also offers professional development in digital literacy, entrepreneurship, leadership, and employability skills.
Qualifications & Requirements
To qualify for the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme, applicants must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or HND from any discipline (minimum of Second-Class Lower or Upper Credit).
- Have graduated not earlier than 2022.
- Be 30 years old or younger.
- Be unemployed at the time of application.
- Have completed NYSC or possess a valid exemption certificate.
- Show interest and commitment in their chosen career field and to Nigeria’s development.
- Demonstrate strong communication, time management, and professional skills.
