The Operations Supervisor oversees daily restaurant operations to ensure excellent customer service, efficient workflow, and a safe, well-maintained environment. The role supports the management team through staff supervision, quality control, and smooth coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
Job Description
Operations & Service
Supervise daily restaurant activities to ensure seamless service.
Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and consistency.
Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly.
Enforce proper hygiene, health, and safety standards.
Staff Supervision
Assign tasks and manage staff schedules.
Provide feedback and monitor staff performance.
Address staff concerns and escalate major issues to management.
Inventory & Cost Control
Track inventory and support stock ordering.
Reduce waste through proper storage, portioning, and FIFO rotation.
Identify and report equipment repair needs.
Administrative Duties
Prepare shift reports, sales summaries, and incident records.
Ensure correct cash handling procedures.
Support the implementation of company policies and SOPs.
Qualifications & Requirements
BSc or HND in any discipline
Minimum of 1 year experience in restaurant or hospitality operations
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
