Job Description
ICARE Centre is recruiting Intern Optometrists and NYSC Optometrists to support clinical eye care services across its outlets in Ogun State. The role offers hands-on clinical exposure, mentorship, and accommodation for successful candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine eye examinations and basic optometric procedures
- Assist in diagnosing and managing common eye conditions
- Provide patient education on eye health and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
- Uphold professional ethics and patient-centered care standards
- Support service delivery across multiple branches when required
Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree in Optometry
- Clinically competent with a solid foundation in optometric practice
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, and reliability
- Excellent communication skills with confidence in patient interaction
- Good interpersonal and human relations skills
- Patient-centered approach to eye care
- Willingness to learn, grow, and work across different branches/outlets
