Job Description
MSF is seeking a qualified HR Assistant to support its human resources operations in Awka, Anambra State. The role involves providing administrative and operational HR support while ensuring adherence to MSF policies, values, and humanitarian principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day HR administrative functions
- Maintain accurate staff records and documentation
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and staff follow-up processes
- Ensure compliance with MSF HR policies and local labor regulations
- Support staff welfare and HR-related communications
- Uphold MSF principles including neutrality, impartiality, independence, and do-no-harm
Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Administration, or a related field
Experience
- At least 2 years’ relevant work experience (desirable)
- Previous experience with MSF or other NGOs in developing countries is an advantage
Languages
- English, Igbo, and Pidgin English – high level of oral and written proficiency required
