Job Description
Aqua Volt is seeking an experienced Accountant to set up and manage the accounting function from the ground up. This role is not entry-level and is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional with FMCG or manufacturing experience who can work independently and establish proper financial structures.
The successful candidate will oversee daily financial operations, inventory control, credit sales management, and financial reporting for the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and manage the accounting department from scratch
- Manage credit sales, debtors, and receivables
- Oversee inventory and stock control for production and distribution
- Implement, configure, and manage an ERP or accounting system
- Handle daily cash management, sales records, and reconciliations
- Prepare regular financial reports and performance summaries
- Ensure proper documentation and financial controls across operations
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong accounting background with proven hands-on experience
- Previous experience in FMCG or manufacturing (highly preferred)
- Experience managing inventory and credit sales
- Ability to work independently without an existing accounting structure
- Knowledge of ERP or accounting software
- AAT or ICAN certification is an added advantage
- Must reside within Egbeda / Shasha axis (Lagos)
