Job Description
A4&T Power is seeking an ND or Technical School Graduate (Electrical) to join its technical team as a Junior EV Technician. This role is ideal for entry-level candidates with a foundational understanding of electrical systems and a strong willingness to learn emerging EV and battery technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with basic electrical installations, inspections, and maintenance tasks
- Perform entry-level electrical troubleshooting and testing under supervision
- Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and technical manuals
- Support EV system diagnostics, battery technology, and charging infrastructure projects
- Use hand tools and electrical testing equipment safely and effectively
- Adhere strictly to electrical safety standards and workplace procedures
- Collaborate with senior technicians and engineering team members
Qualifications & Requirements
- ND or Technical School Certificate in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Electrical Installation
- Mechatronics
- Automotive Electrical Technology or a related discipline
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and safety practices
Skills & Competencies
- Basic electrical troubleshooting and testing skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and manuals
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic electrical testing equipment
- Willingness to learn EV systems, battery technology, and charging infrastructure
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
