Job Description
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing technical equipment used in oilfield operations. The role involves troubleshooting mechanical or electrical systems, conducting failure investigations, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently to support field activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair of surface well test equipment and downhole electronics equipment.
- Conduct failure investigations and root cause analysis on faulty equipment.
- Support operational teams to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and efficient workshop operations.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and operational procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- HND in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in shop operations or equipment maintenance.
- Experience maintaining surface well test equipment or downhole electronics equipment.
- Hands-on competence in failure investigation and root cause analysis.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic and changing work environments.
