Job Description
Erisco Foods Limited is seeking an experienced Quality Control Officer to join its production team in Ikeja, Lagos. The role involves ensuring that all products meet required quality and safety standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Key responsibilities
- Monitoring production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Conducting routine inspections and laboratory tests on raw materials and finished products
- Ensuring adherence to food safety regulations such as HACCP and GMP
- Identifying quality issues and recommending corrective actions
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reports on quality control activities
- Collaborating with production teams to improve product quality
Qualifications & Requirements
- BSc or HND in Food Science & Technology, Microbiology, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a quality control role within a manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP)
- High level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
