Job Description

Oando Nigeria Plc is recruiting experienced professionals across multiple geoscience and petroleum-related roles to support its exploration and production operations.

Available positions include:

Geologist
Geophysicist (Land Assets)
Geophysicist (Swamp Assets)
Senior Geoscientist (Exploration Portfolio & New Ventures)
Petrophysicist
Senior Petrophysicist
Senior Processing Geophysicist

Successful candidates will contribute to subsurface analysis, reservoir evaluation, exploration planning, and drilling operations, while supporting data-driven decision-making and resource optimization.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geophysics, Petroleum Engineering, or related disciplines
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., NAPE, NMGS, SPE, AAPG) are an added advantage
Minimum experience requirements vary by role:
- Mid-level roles: 3–7 years
- Senior roles: 10+ years
Strong experience in seismic interpretation, reservoir characterization, or petrophysical analysis
Proficiency in industry tools such as Petrel, GeoX, Techlog, or similar software
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
Excellent communication and technical reporting abilities
