Qualifications & Requirements
Principal Teacher:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Minimum: Second Class Upper)
- TRCN certification
- Minimum of 15 years post-qualification experience
- At least 5 years in a school leadership/administrative role
- ICT proficiency (added advantage)
Subject Teachers (General Requirements):
- Relevant B.Sc. (Ed) / B.A. (Ed) / B.Tech / B.Ed in subject area
- Minimum of Second Class Upper Division
- NYSC Discharge Certificate
- TRCN Certification
Subject-Specific Degrees:
- Physics → B.Sc. (Ed) Physics
- Chemistry → B.Sc. (Ed) Chemistry
- Social Studies → B.A. (Ed) Social Studies / Political Science
- Creative Arts → B.A./B.Sc. (Ed) Fine or Applied Arts
- Basic Technology → Engineering / Technical Education / Architecture
- Music → B.A. (Ed) Music
