1. Software Engineer – Mobile Android Native
Paga is seeking a Software Engineer – Mobile Android Native to build, maintain, and improve high-quality Android applications serving millions of users across Africa.
The ideal candidate will work within agile product teams to design, develop, test, and optimize Android mobile solutions while collaborating with designers, product managers, and backend engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Java
- Build scalable and high-performance mobile features
- Integrate RESTful APIs and asynchronous workflows
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and optimization
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams
- Implement secure mobile application practices
- Contribute to CI/CD processes and automation

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- 1–5 years of Android application development experience
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK and Android Studio
- Experience with Kotlin, Java, MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture
- Familiarity with Jetpack Compose and Android Jetpack components
- Knowledge of REST APIs, Retrofit, OkHttp, and Kotlin Coroutines
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of mobile security best practices

2. Software Engineer – Mobile iOS Native
Paga is recruiting a Software Engineer – Mobile iOS Native to design, develop, and maintain high-performance iOS applications.
The successful candidate will contribute to the full product development lifecycle, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless mobile experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain native iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C
- Implement modern iOS architecture and UI frameworks
