Job Description

Kuda Bank is seeking a Sales Officer (Direct Sales Agent) to support its customer acquisition and business growth initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying potential customers, promoting the bank’s digital financial products, and building strong client relationships.

The role involves proactive sales activities such as lead generation, client engagement, product demonstrations, and onboarding new users onto Kuda’s digital banking platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, and cold calling.
  • Promote Kuda’s financial services, including personal and business accounts, loans, and POS terminals.
  • Meet or exceed monthly customer acquisition and sales targets.
  • Present and demonstrate banking products to potential customers.
  • Negotiate pricing and service terms to close sales deals.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations, including KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) policies.
  • Educate potential customers about digital banking solutions and assist with onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.
  • Participate in marketing campaigns, roadshows, and community outreach events.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams to improve product offerings and customer experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales, customer service, or direct marketing, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet performance targets.
  • Familiarity with digital banking platforms and mobile technology.
  • Highly motivated with a strong commitment to achieving sales goals.
