Job Description
The Subsea Field Engineer will support Testing and Subsea (TSS) operations under the supervision of experienced field professionals. The role is designed for entry-level engineering graduates seeking practical field experience in the oil and gas industry.
Successful candidates will receive on-the-job training and assist with equipment preparation, calibration, wellsite operations, job execution, and technical support activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of Testing and Subsea product services on-site
- Train under senior field professionals to gain operational knowledge
- Support equipment preparation, calibration, and utilization at the wellsite
- Assist with pre-job planning, execution, and post-job analysis
- Apply basic engineering principles during field assignments
- Maintain professional relationships with technical customers
- Provide technical support and contribute to process improvements
- Assist in maintaining job schedules and operational reporting
- Participate in technology improvement and compliance initiatives
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Technical Diploma in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Control & Automation Engineering
- Or related engineering disciplines
- Undergraduate degree in:
- Engineering
- Physics
- Geology
- Mathematics
- Engineer-in-Training certification is an added advantage
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
- Good English communication proficiency
- Willingness to work in field operations environments
