Job Description
The company is seeking a smart, analytical, and detail-oriented NYSC Corps Member to join its Finance Team as an Accounts Intern.
This opportunity is ideal for corps members looking to gain practical accounting and financial administration experience within a structured manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Assist in recording daily financial transactions
- Support preparation and filing of accounting documents
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable activities
- Help reconcile bank statements and financial records
- Maintain filing systems for invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
- Support stock and inventory reconciliation
- Assist in preparing financial reports and schedules
- Perform data entry and update accounting records
- Provide administrative support to the Finance Department
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Must be a current NYSC Corps Member seeking a PPA
- Degree in:
- Accounting
- Finance
- Or related discipline
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (mandatory)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn
- Integrity and ability to handle confidential information
