Job Description
Careers Verified Limited is seeking motivated and results-driven candidates for the position of Business Development Intern. This opportunity is ideal for graduates interested in building a career in sales, marketing, client relationship management, and business development.
The successful candidate will support business growth initiatives by identifying new opportunities, conducting market research, generating leads, maintaining client databases, and assisting the business development team in achieving organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and support the generation of new business opportunities.
- Conduct market research to identify prospective clients, competitors, and industry trends.
- Assist with lead generation through phone calls, emails, social media platforms, and networking activities.
- Maintain and update client and prospect databases.
- Support the preparation of business proposals, presentations, and reports.
- Schedule meetings and follow up with potential clients.
- Assist the business development team in meeting sales and revenue targets.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Participate in marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and events.
- Prepare weekly and monthly business development performance reports.
- Carry out additional duties assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant discipline.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong interest in sales, marketing, and business development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
