Job Description

The Management Trainee – Beverage role serves as the entry point into the company’s commercial career pathway within the beverage division. Successful candidates will participate in an intensive three-month training programme designed to develop practical skills in trade sales, customer engagement, brand activation, and account management.

Trainees will gain hands-on experience working with wine stores, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, cafés, bars, lounges, and other trade outlets. Outstanding performers will have the opportunity to transition into a full-time Trade Account Executive role, managing their own sales territory and advancing toward higher commercial leadership positions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and expand the company’s presence across beverage trade channels.
  • Open, manage, and service retail and hospitality outlets.
  • Conduct product tastings, brand activations, and promotional events.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and trade partners.
  • Support sales growth through effective sell-in and sell-through activities.
  • Collaborate with senior commercial leaders to execute market strategies.
  • Represent the company and its beverage brands professionally at all times.
  • Monitor market opportunities and customer feedback within assigned territories.
  • Contribute to achieving sales and business development targets.

Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in any discipline.
  • Degrees in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related fields are an added advantage.

Experience

  • 0–3 years of work experience.
  • Internship experience, campus leadership roles, retail, hospitality, events, or sales experience will be considered valuable.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with strong drive and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Comfortable working within hospitality and social environments.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends when required for trade activities.
  • Ability to travel and relocate to assigned territories after probation.
