Job Description
Sundry Markets Limited is inviting applications from qualified and ambitious graduates for its 2026 Internal Audit Trainee Programme. This programme is designed to equip participants with practical experience and professional exposure in internal auditing, risk management, compliance monitoring, and process improvement.
Successful candidates will work alongside experienced internal audit professionals, gaining valuable insights into organizational controls and operational efficiency within a leading retail organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the internal audit team in conducting audits across various departments and business functions.
- Assist in preparing, organizing, and maintaining audit documentation and working papers.
- Participate in compliance reviews to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to risk identification, assessment, and evaluation processes.
- Support initiatives aimed at strengthening internal controls and improving operational efficiency.
- Assist in drafting audit reports and presenting findings to management.
- Participate in audit-related investigations and special assignments as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Financial Management, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification such as ICAN is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and develop a career in internal auditing and risk management.
